Sound Insights was founded in 1977 as the Sound Shack located in Fort Pierce,
Florida. In 1982 it was decided that a name change was necessary and Sound Insights
was born. In 1994 Sound Insights opened their second location offering the very
best in car audio and security at the Market Place Square located in Jensen Beach, Florida. During the 1997 IASCA Car
Audio World Finals Sound Insights had a very impressive showing with two second
place trophies (novice 151-300 watts), one fourth place trophy (amateur 1000+
watts), and one first place trophy (kiddie car division). In Aug. of 1998,
Sound Insights was featured in several National Car Audio publications and
gained the honor of being only the forth in the ten year history of Car Audio
and Electronics Magazine to have a Car featured on the front cover.
In late
2001, Sound Insights closed its doors in Ft Pierce in order to expand the Jensen
Beach location and bring our
customers a state of the art Home Theater Design Center. In 2003, Sound Insights decided to eliminate the
Car Audio Division in order to concentrate on bringing the very best in Home
Audio and Video to our extensive customer base. 2006 brought us the
ability to give our clients the very best in control platforms with the addition
of Crestron to our product line. Now, In our 31st year of operation, Sound
Insights continues to provide our customers with the Best in Custom Audio,
Video and Automation for your Home, Office and Boat. We believe that you will not find
a better resource of knowledge and talent anywhere.
